Silver Salts

Silver Salts

Many minerals found in nature contain silver as a component. Acanthite (Argentite, silver sulfide) is the most important source of pure silver. Others such common minerals are chlorargyrite, pyargyrite, proustite, and stephanite. Most silver compounds in the laboratory are synthetically produced.

Alfa Aesar has a longstanding experience in producing an extensive range of specialized silver compounds manufactured in our Royston, UK plant. Many silver compounds are photosensitive. All our specialized silver compounds are packaged in lightproof containers. We have the capability of producing batch sizes up to 200 kg. Bulk packing sizes are customized to meet our customers requirements.
